Welcome to TIK
Welcome to your first course in computer science.
We start with a little background information from the Norton textbook.
Then we begin to write programs, which I think is going give you quite a thrill. There's something about it, having that much control over the computer - it's just so cool/neat/awesome!
No matter how you react at the beginning, I know you're going to get a kick out of it when we learn how to do pixel graphics (Chapter 8 of the Turing textbook). Remember those screen savers I showed you from last year's students? You'll be able to do things like that. You can get as creative as you want using colours and designs and movement.
